Young Children’s House

Inspired by Dr. Montessori’s developmental stages, Fairport Montessori Academy uses multi-aged environments, like the “Young Children’s Community,” to cultivate independence, language, and intelligence, preparing children for a life of cooperation.

Children’s House

The Children’s House is a beautifully ordered environment where children pursue self-directed activities across the areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Mathematics, fostering deep concentration, independence, and a foundation for abstract thought.

Lower Elementary House (French-Immersion)

Our Lower Elementary Montessori Program for children aged 6–9 follows AMI and MQA principles, led by bilingual AMI-trained educators in a rich English–French environment that integrates music, sport, and the arts to foster independence, curiosity, creativity, and holistic growth.

Upper Elementary House (French-Immersion)

Our Upper Elementary Program (ages 9–12) follows AMI and MQA principles in a bilingual English–French environment. Led by expert educators, we integrate arts and athletics to foster independence, curiosity, and holistic growth during these pivotal years.

Adolescent House (French-Immersion)

The Montessori Adolescent program supports the “humanistic mind” of twelve- to fifteen-year-olds during a period of profound physical and social transformation. At this stage, students move beyond simple intellectual acquisition to focus on self-construction, seeking to understand their identity and how they can contribute meaningfully to society.
