Dr. Kabboul is the Head of School at Fairport Montessori Academy.  Dr. Kabboul is well versed in public health and education, most recently completing his Doctorate degree with the University of Toronto.  He is passionate about health, teaching and giving children the best possible head start in life.  He is a father of 4 young children, the eldest of whom is Maya (6), and the youngest of whom are triplets, Noah, Emma, and Ava (4).  After taking notice of the value that a Montessori curriculum was bringing to his own children, Dr. Kabboul took a focused interest in the Montessori pedagogy.  For the last 5 years, Dr. Kabboul has focused on learning all about how/why a Montessori education has such an incredible impact on young minds.  His journey through Dr. Maria Montessori’s body of work led him to open Fairport Montessori Academy, the only current Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) recognized Montessori School in Whitby and Durham Region.

Prior to opening Fairport Montessori Academy, Dr. Kabboul spent 15 years working in the medical industry.  While there, he served in numerous commercial, medical and government affairs roles of increasing responsibility and leadership.  Dr. Kabboul has also held numerous educational, community and philanthropic leadership positions with a focus on children’s education, and their natural diversity, to promote equality of gender and race worldwide.
